Description:
A tale about a full-blooded American who, on turning thirty, is amazed to discover that he is not American at all.
While putting the final touches on a family tree software package, he discovers that his own family tree – based on the information he has entered into the programme – doesn’t work. It turns out that his American parents have for years been hiding a small but dark secret from him: his American mother is not his generic mother. His genetic mother lives in Central Europe – in Bratislava. And that’s just the first shock………
This blackish comedy is a succession of surprising, funny and emotional – almost tragic – situtations about the very similar joys and concerns of people thousands of miles apart.
